“ First time I went and it was well worth it that have items you don't grind in your local grocery store. ”
“ Wayne's is a staple in the Black Community. They carry items not found in franchises. ”
“ Today was my first time going to Wayne's. I was making dinner and ran out of a few things (limes, vegetable oil, hot sauce, and tortilla chips) so I decided to try Wayne's instead of driving 15 minutes to another grocery store. This store is small but has most everything you would need (but not all the brands you might look for). It's clean and the aisles are wide enough for carts to pass each other. The prices seem a little higher than Walmart or Target but probably cheaper than Harris Teeter. They are supposed to accept Apple Pay but it didn't work for me--luckily I had a credit card with me. ”
“ Wayne's Super Market has been a super market staple for the Druid Hills neighborhood for many decades. My parents have been coming here for several decades. I love coming here with my mom and exploring the store. This is the only grocery where I've found many novelty snacks. I also find many nostalgic candy and treats. The store is kinda random and has loads of goodies. It well worth going and exploring. Wayne's Super Market 2050 N Graham St Charlotte, NC 28206 (Review 653 overall, 198 in 2021) ”
“ Definitely a hidden gem! With everyone encouraged to practice social distancing in the wake of COVID-19, many grocery stores were out of meat! Not Wayne's! I was grateful to walk in and find a healthy selection of meats (and some fish) towards the back of the store. While I was there, I walked around to see what other things I could find and was surprised to see a wide selection of flavored coconut milk. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I've not been able to find that anywhere else... needless to say, I was pretty excited! I wanted to keep this little gem a secret but it's important that we love on our local supermarkets and I'm for sure glad that I went to check this one out. I wasn't able to find any ground turkey, but they did have some nice size turkey legs available. My stomach did a little dance! Go check them out... you may see me there! ”
